Who we are
The Marching Arts: Drums and Bugle Corps, Marching Band, Winterguard, Indoor Drumline, Soundsport, and more. These activities have affected millions of people around the world through beautiful performances, unforgettable experiences, and life-long friendships that shape who we are today. Many of us would not be the people we are today without the hard work, camaraderie, and commitment it takes to be a part of something bigger than yourself. That is the Marching Arts.
Unfortunately, the rising costs of our world have taken a toll on our activity. Not only does each performing ensemble have new hurdles to jump, but the young performers themselves find the rising costs of participation fees a burden to overcome. We firmly believe every person deserves an opportunity to experience the marching arts as a performer, despite the cost.
Marching Arts Give Back began as a simple get-together with Southern Californian golfing friends on April 17, 2022. After a wonderful first golf tournament and a successful 2023 tournament, 2024 brought us to our biggest year yet as we officially formed the 501c3. Through our many generous sponsors and donors we were able to raise $20,000 to our scholarship fund. This fund was divided to $5,000 in scholarships to performers for four California drums corps - Santa Clara Vanguard, Pacific Crest, Mandarins, and Blue Devils.
